Open Lab is focused on two aims, developing web applications and supplying quality design solutions; these two aims often overlap. Web applications and web sites are produced on a shared platform in Java, AJAX, DHTML and Actionscript; design is structured in web design, paper design, interfaces, company identities, packaging, animations and all kinds of creative production.

Smallcodes is an application suite in the computational linguistics and language engineering field, with particular focus on managing regional and minority languages.
Smallcodes technology has three integrated modules:- Lexicography, with special attention to diatopic and sociolinguistic variation for lesser-used and not-so-standardised languages;
- Proofing tools (spell and grammar checking), with unique features for detecting dialectal-backround driven errors;
- Text mining and analysis, for information retrieval, lexical statistics, neology and terminology work.

Webwork is our enterprise Content Management Solution (CMS) with which you can create and manage very complex and dynamic sites, beyond the limits of the available open-source Java CMS. A few examples: you can create standard output HTML templates that can be automatically applied to new and existing pages; you can organize your pages’ contents with just a drag and drop of dynamic portlets; you can manage almost every kind of file (audio, video, animation, PDF attachment, etc.) by simply uploading and associating them to different contents; you can manage as many securized areas as you need in front and back office; you can create a workflow system based on publication and expire date of each document or by its approval, and more.
